Today I am sharing with you something very personal. Let me tell you not any story of any logo but specifically about the logo of my blog. On the top of the title The Soul Searcher, you can see the little cup brewing tea with a lemon wedge on it. No, I did not create that. Who did? Well, I will have to begin from the beginning.

It began when I started the blog. Typical of me, I couldn’t decide how it should look. Should I have a logo? How should I call my blog? Millions of doubts bubbled in my head. I could eventually, after many alterations, settle on one look. My posts followed. I started getting readers too. However, there was still no logo. I happened to find one on some online website but did not quite love it. It would do. But there was no connection I felt to that logo.
But some friends exist in the world just to save your day. And I am grateful that I have quite a few. This one is a special friend. Let us call him N. He is a good person who is extremely talented and creative. I kept reminding him to make a logo for me. But he usually keeps very busy, so he couldn’t do it.
One fine afternoon, he sat with me post lunch. The desktop in front of us in my research lab. And he just felt like, “Let us make a logo for you”. Some quick ideas doodled on a blank sheet. A few smooth brush strokes on MS Paint. Some adjustments on Canva. And voila! There was the most pretty little cup of tea with a tiny lemon wedge on my website!
I was elated. The logo defines me and mostly, my thoughts which I share with you. The logo is what the blog is about. An organic lifestyle. It is as simple as that. A purely organic logo made simply from a built-in programme on your computer. How much simpler can my blog get?!
Thank you dearest N for all your efforts and wonderful imagination and love!
What do you, my beautiful readers, think about the logo? Maybe share your stories of simplicity with us? Comment in the section below.
Happy Soul-Searching!
