How was your week, dear Soul-Searchers? I hope it had been a productive one.
After my last post on Monday, where I talked of ways to maintain the correct body posture, I could not post anything midweek. My PhD work took up most of the time. And I did not want to overload my schedule and stress myself. Remember, the mantra is to work hard but not fall sick doing that π

The weekend is here. What are your weekend plans?
I do not have a happening list lined up, though! August has been so humid here this year that one does not enjoy going out.
But I do have to go shopping with my mother today. In my journey of minimalist living, I have learnt slow fashion solves most of my problems in life. I have started buying only those essential clothes I need. It saves me time and money so much. But I can go on talking about this at length now! So, let us keep this for another post π
So, as I was saying, as a part of my minimalist lifestyle, I have decided that this time for festivals, I will buy cloth material from the market and get it stitched from my tailor into that one attire I want to wear. This way, I would not be lured by the glamour of shopping! So, today is that evening when I will go with my mother to hunt for the right kind, quality and amount of cloth material I will need for a salwar (I think).
I also plan to visit my grandmother on Saturday. I love visiting her. But lately, I could not do that much. So, I decided this Saturday has to be it.
Sunday might be a slow day, and I like it that way. You need that one day of slow living to detoxify your mind, don’t you?
Amidst all these, I do have to finish reading a book for my PhD. And I will have to do it by Saturday. I DO NOT do my PhD work on Sunday (Another new mantra!). It should not take up much time because I am already more than halfway through it anyway.
But I will read a new book for pleasure on Sunday though. It is on Hygge, the Danish tradition of finding happiness and comfort in daily life. We will talk about it sometime later.
Well, thatβs it, I think!
Tell me about your weekend plans. Do you have something fun to do? I hope you have some good time β€
